it is always at night because the morning tastes like coffee and last night’s dreams linger in the corners of my vision the afternoon sun falls across my bed the couch or the kitchen counter catching cats in their mid-day stretch but the night she sees me after I’ve been spent having poured myself into the day I am empty— crumpled and the corners of my mind hold worries that gather like dust unsaid words, thoughts never formed everything that could have been but was not and maybe I should have done something a little different I think to myself so I bottle everything up pour my thoughts into my chamomile tea and drink them down hold them in until the morning comes around once more filling my mind with soft dreams - chamomile tea, Half a Person

On bad days, and there are a teensy bit too many, i double-bag my chamo tea. she is also soothing to the gums and the stomach, not just my hyperactive emotional debrisment 🌱
i really should have replaced my tea pot by now, lost in a bushfire, i hereby resolve to so do. beautiful work, love the temporal subtlety...
