A truth that’s been coming online for me…
We've become incredibly good at making life more efficient.
We optimize. We automate. We organize. We look for shortcuts. We buy the gadget, download the app, listen at 2x speed, consume more information, and chase the next thing that's supposed to make life easier and us more productive.
And in so many ways...it works.
But I also think we've quietly traded away something precious.
A little bit of the human.
A little bit of the magic.
A little bit of the love that was meant to live inside the ordinary moments of our lives.
Somewhere between endless information and endless optimization, we forget ourselves.
We forget what we like.
What we desire.
What feels true.
What matters.
Then life has a way of humbling us.
A night with our journals.
A morning cup of tea with the sunrise.
A hug with our kiddo.
A walk in the woods.
A conversation with someone we love.
A mountain view.
A belly laugh.
A deep breath.
A hard season.
Something wakes us up, and for a little while we remember.
Then, slowly, we drift back into the noise.
Forget.
Remember.
Forget.
Remember.
I could go without the cycle.
I like the idea of knowing, trusting, and believing.
Of living with personal truth as our identity, and never abandoning that side of ourselves.
In my mind, I believe life is about learning and knowing ourselves, meeting and connecting with others in ways that remind us of the love that brought us all here.
That's what Higher Ground means to me.
Not perfection.
Not productivity.
Not becoming someone else.
Finding the quiet place inside yourself that stays steady no matter what's happening around you.
The meaningful parts of life can't be optimized - the slow mornings, the walks, the conversations with your partner, the snuggles with your kids, the “one more book” at bedtime, the breath, the movement, the stillness before the day starts.
That's the life I want.
And that's why I created Camp Kundalini: Higher Ground.
We are about to spend 40 days together, with the intention to remember who we are beneath all the noise.
We'll move.
We'll breathe.
We'll meditate.
We’ll practice Kundalini.
We’ll laugh.
We’ll cry.
We’ll be fully, wholly, completely human.
Together.
If you've been craving steadiness more than productivity...presence more than perfection...and a little more magic in your ordinary days...
I'd love for you to join us.
This is Camp Kundalini: Higher Ground.
Welcome home.
Big love,
A
